LITURGICAL MINISTRIES

Catechists/Assistant Catechists
Classes are offered on Sundays from 9:30am-10:30am or Wednesdays from 4:30pm-5:30pm. No experience necessary, all ages welcome.

Altar Servers
Assist at Sunday Masses, Holy Day Masses, Funeral Masses, Weddings, etc. Training Provided.

Minister of Communion
Distribute Holy Communion at Mass. Training Provided.

Lector
Proclaim the scriptures at Mass. Training Provided.

Music Ministry
Sing or play an instrument in the choir or ensemble. Weekly practice.

Usher
Welcome parishioners to Mass and assist with seating, collection, etc.

PARISH LIFE

Ascension Adults in Action
Ascension adults serving the parish and the community.

Church Maintenance
Church, Rectory, Parish Center, etc. - LIGHT cleaning, painting, carpentry.

Development/Fundraising
Develop and assist with fundraising initiatives for the parish.

Gay & Lesbian Fellowship
Meet to discuss current topics in the Parish, Church, and world.

Martini Night
Volunteer to help out at this potluck supper held each First Sunday of the month.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
Join the local council in offering person-to-person service to individuals in need.

Welcome Table
Help prepare a free meal the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Youth Ministry
Plan and chaperone spiritual and social events for the teens of our Parish.
